Kwara Deputy Governor's Aide is Dead

The Aide de Camp to the Deputy Governor of Kwara State Mr. Gaya Mark is dead.
Mr. Gaya Mark died at the age of 40. He used to be a police inspector. It was suspected that he died  of cardiac arrest today.
According to the Punch, Mr. Mark had an issue with an unidentified commercial motorcyclist, Okada, who allegedly was about breaking into the Deputy Governor’s convoy near a bank at Illofa Road, Ilorin.
The deceased had altercations with the Okada rider and in the process, slumped and later died.
However, another source, who spoke with the newsmen on conditions of anonymity, claimed that the deceased was only ensuring orderliness of the convoy, when the sickness became aggravated and he slumped and later died.
“Contrary to speculations, there was no exchange of either hand or words between the deceased and the Okada man.
“Mark was survived by a wife and three children and his remains have since been deposited at the mortuary wing of the University of Ilorin,” the source narrated.
